Becoming Her is a retreat for the woman who is ready to bury an old version of herself.

This retreat is a space to lay the old self down and to make space for the woman rising in her place.

In Mexico, we gather to grieve, to honor, and to become.

Through embodied practices, rituals of release, honest reflection, and experiences that help you move what’s been living under the surface.

Come back into your body: Through yoga, meditation, sound healing, and movement practices that help you soften self-protection, release stored tension, and reconnect with the part of you that knows how to feel, trust, and take up space.

Release what no longer fits: Through ritual, reflection, and ceremony, we create room to grieve the old roles, old identities, and old survival patterns that have shaped you, protected you, and quietly kept you from the life you actually want.

Is Mexico safe?
Yes — and you’re held the whole way through.

Mexico, and especially the Riviera Maya, is a place people have been coming to heal, create, and remember themselves for generations.

Lunita Jungle was chosen very intentionally.

A space designed for rest, creativity, and nervous system ease.

Here’s how we support you:

Transportation is handled.
- We coordinate trusted airport transfers to and from Lunita Jungle so you’re not navigating anything alone or guessing your way through travel.

A secure, private retreat space.
- Lunita is tucked into the jungle, with on-site staff and a container built specifically for retreats like this. Calm. Cared for. Supported.

We move as a group.
- Excursions, ceremonies, cenote visits — we go together. There’s no “figure it out on your own” energy here.

Local, trusted support.
- Our team works closely with people who know this land deeply. You’re guided by those who live here and respect this place.

A few gentle guidelines we’ll hold together:

How to get to the retreat?
Your destination: Cancún International Airport (CUN)

Best flight options:

- Tons of international flights from major U.S. + Canadian cities (and many direct routes, depending on your airport)
- If you don’t have a direct flight, most routes connect through major hubs like Miami, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, or Mexico City
- Average round-trip cost varies by departure city + how early you book (prices jump fast for popular weekends)

Arrival/Departure:

- Arrive: Oct 27 — aim to land by 3pm so you can get settled and be fully on-site for our evening start
- Depart: Oct 31 — we’ll plan departures for afternoon/evening flights but if your flight is earlier, we will provide an earlier transport

We’ll coordinate your pickup time based on your flight details — just send us your flight info after you book. The retreat center is approximately 40 minutes away from the Cancun Airport.
What do I need for traveling to Mexico?
Passport & Visa

- Valid passport required (must be valid for 6 months beyond your travel dates)
- U.S. citizens don’t need a visa for tourism/business trips of up to 180 days.

Money & Currency:

- Currency: Mexican Peso (MXN)
- Bring some cash for tips, small shops, markets, and quick grabs (about $100–200 is a solid cushion)
- ATMs are common in cities/tourist areas (airports too)
- Credit cards are widely accepted at hotels and many restaurants; cash is still king in markets and smaller places

Travel Insurance:

- Highly recommended
- We suggest World Nomads or SafetyWing
- Coverage for medical emergencies + trip interruptions
- Cost is typically $50–100 for the week (varies by age + coverage)
What if I have dietary restrictions?
No problem. Our private chef can customize meals around your needs—whether you're plant-based, gluten-free, or managing specific health conditions.
Do I have to come with a friend or know someone to attend?
Not at all. In fact, most women come solo — and many say the sisterhood they found in our spaces was the most unexpected gift. This space is designed to make you feel safe, welcome, and deeply connected from day one!
Will there be free time?
Absolutely. This retreat blends guided experiences with spaciousness so you can rest, reflect, or connect as you need. Your energy is honored every step of the way.
Can I arrive earlier/stay longer in Mexico?
Yes. A lot of women choose to come a day or two early (or stay after) to make travel feel softer… and to actually *enjoy* being in Mexico instead of sprinting straight into the retreat like it’s a work trip.

If you’re arriving early, you’re welcome to stay in Cancún before the retreat, or choose a nearby area like Isla Mujeres or Playa del Carmen for a slower landing. Then you’ll meet us in Cancún for our official arrival day and group coordination.

Accommodation and transportation outside the official retreat dates (Oct 27–31) aren’t included.

But we’re happy to recommend places to stay, and if you want extra nights at/near the retreat location, we can help you coordinate that based on availability.

And yes — we’ll also connect women arriving around the same time so you can share rides, meet up beforehand, or extend the trip together after!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We want this to feel accessible and spacious.

You can secure your spot with a $300 deposit today. This officially reserves your place and gives you access to a flexible payment plan, with remaining payments spread out over the coming months.

On the payment page, simply choose the deposit option instead of paying in full, and we’ll work with you to create a timeline that feels supportive.
What's the cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens — and we also need to honor the commitment and planning that goes into creating this retreat.

- The $500 deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your spot and covers upfront retreat costs.
- If you need to cancel after paying more than the deposit, any additional payments may be partially refundable depending on timing, or transferable to another woman if you find someone to take your place (with our approval).
- If we are able to fill your spot, we’ll do our best to refund payments made beyond the deposit.

Because this retreat involves international planning, accommodations, and vendors booked in advance, we cannot offer full refunds for late cancellations.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.

If something comes up, please communicate with us as soon as possible — we’ll always approach the situation with care and transparency.
