An in-person immersion for women to come home to the part of you that’s always been whole.

Here’s everything you might be wondering as you feel into whether Sacred Sands is right for you. 
  • Is Morocco safe?
    Yes — and we've got you fully supported every step of the way.

    Morocco is a well-traveled destination known for its rich culture, deep spirituality, and warm hospitality. Agadir, in particular, is a relaxed coastal city chosen for its safety, ease, and peaceful atmosphere.

    We’ve intentionally selected accommodations and experiences that prioritize comfort, grounding, and care — so you can settle in, soften, and focus on your journey.

    Here's how we ensure your safety:

    Airport transfers included: We arrange private, trusted transportation directly from Marrakech Airport (RAK) to the retreat center and back. You'll never navigate alone.
    Secure retreat center: Our venue is in a safe, well-established area with 24/7 on-site support
    Group travel: You'll be with our community the entire time. We move together for all excursions and activities.
    Local guidance: Our team knows the area intimately and has established relationships with local guides and vendors

    Our advice:

    - Stay with the group during free time explorations
    - Follow our guidance on where to go and what to bring
    - Trust your intuition (as always) and communicate any concerns to us

    Bottom line: We will be your guides and safety is our top priority. You're not just visiting Morocco — you're being held in a intentional, protected container the entire time.
  • How to get to the retreat?
    Your destination: Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) or Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA)

    Best flight options:

    - International flights available from major US and European cities (direct flights available from NYC to Marrakech)
    - Most routes connect through major hubs (Paris, Madrid, London)
    - Average round-trip cost varies by departure city and season

    Arrival/Departure:

    Arrive: Nov 29 - aim to land by 3pm to arrive by the evening (when the retreat officially starts).
    Depart: Dec 5 - we'll have you back to RAK or AGA for afternoon/evening flights

    We coordinate your pickup time based on your flight details — just share your flight info with us after booking! From Marrakech airport to our retreat center is approximately 3 hours.
  • What do I need for traveling to Morocco?
    Passport & Visa:

    - Valid passport required (must be valid for 6 months beyond your travel dates)
    - US citizens do NOT need a visa for stays under 90 days

    Money & Currency:

    - Currency: Moroccan Dirham (MAD)
    - Bring some cash for tips, markets, and personal purchases ($100–200 recommended)
    - ATMs are widely available in cities and airports
    - Credit cards accepted at hotels and many restaurants (cash preferred in markets)

    Health & Vaccination:

    - No required vaccinations for Morocco
    - Bottled or filtered water will be provided at the retreat
    - Standard travel precautions apply

    Travel Insurance:

    - Highly recommended
    - We suggest World Nomads or SafetyWing
    - Coverage for medical emergencies and trip interruptions
    - Cost is typically $50–100 for the week
  • What if I have dietary restrictions?
    No problem. Our private chef can customize meals around your needs—whether you're plant-based, gluten-free, or managing specific health conditions.
  • Do I have to come with a friend or know someone to attend?
    Not at all. In fact, most women come solo — and many say the sisterhood they found in our spaces was the most unexpected gift. This space is designed to make you feel safe, welcome, and deeply connected from day one!
  • Will there be free time?
    Absolutely. This retreat blends guided experiences with spaciousness so you can rest, reflect, or connect as you need. Your energy is honored every step of the way.
  • Can I arrive earlier/stay longer in Morocco?
    Yes! Many guests choose to arrive a day or two early or stay after the retreat to explore Morocco or ease into the journey.

    You’re welcome to spend time in Marrakech before or after the retreat and then travel with the group to Agadir on our designated transfer days. We’ll share clear travel guidance so this feels simple and supported.

    Accommodation and transport outside the official retreat dates (Nov 29 – Dec 5) aren’t included, but we’re happy to recommend places to stay in Marrakech or help coordinate extra nights directly with the retreat center if availability allows.

    We’ll also help connect women who are arriving around the same time, so you can travel together, meet up beforehand, or continue the journey after.
  • Do you offer payment plans?
    Yes. We want this to feel accessible and spacious.

    You can secure your spot with a $300 deposit today. This officially reserves your place and gives you access to a flexible payment plan with remaining payments spread out over the coming months.

    Because the retreat is Nov/Dec 2026, there’s plenty of time — no rush, no pressure. On the payment page, simply choose the deposit option instead of paying in full, and we’ll work with you to create a timeline that feels supportive and realistic.
  • What's the cancellation policy?
    We understand that life happens — and we also need to honor the commitment and planning that goes into creating this retreat.

    The $300 deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your spot and covers upfront retreat costs.

    If you need to cancel after paying more than the deposit, any additional payments may be partially refundable depending on timing, or transferable to another woman if you find someone to take your place (with our approval).

    Because this retreat involves international planning, accommodations, and vendors booked in advance, we cannot offer full refunds for late cancellations.

    We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.

    If something comes up, please communicate with us as soon as possible — we’ll always approach the situation with care, transparency, and humanity.
